As you can see, *DistinctLiterature, along with the other Distinct groups, has a swanky new journal skin. We hope you like it!

More importantly though, we need your submissions - interest in the project seems to be waning, sadly, but we're determined to make Issue #2 a real standout piece of work, and the yardstick by which future issues are measured. I realise we've been slacking off a little, so the deadline is fast approaching - we hope to get the issue ready by early November.

So, if you're a writer here on dA, send us a note with your submissions!
If you know of another great writer on dA, let them know and have them send us something!
If neither of the above, then advertise in your journals, or wherever else you can, to help us get the choicest lit on dA together for Issue #2.

ALSO, we need a cover artist - someone willing to produce a piece of art for our second cover (or, alternatively, to allow us to use an existing piece of their art). As usual, we are unable to pay, being a non-profit publication, but your work will feature prominently and we will link back to your account.

Finally,
As many of you will remember, back when Distinct started, we said we would be giving all proceeds to charity, but hadn't decided what charity that would be. Well, it's taken us long enough, but we haven't forgotten. All proceeds from Distinct will be going to Book Aid International, which promotes literacy and education across Sub-Saharan Africa.
